Kia Stonic has sold over 1,300 units.

In November 2021, Kia’s newest addition to the locally assembled portfolio in Pakistan, the Stonic B-segment crossover, was released. The Kia Stonic Pakistan is marketed as a “SUV for the City” and is offered in two variations, with the base EX model costing PKR 41.5 lakh and the top-spec EX+ model costing PKR 44.5 lac.

Because Kia is not a member of PAMA (Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association), its monthly sales figures are not included in the PAMA data. However, according to AutoJournal.pk, the Kia Stonic was able to find 1,304 purchasers between November and February. The CUV’s average monthly sales are estimated to be approximately 400 units. According to the webpage, the Kia Stonic has a four-month waiting list.

In Pakistan, the Stonic is equipped with a 1.4L engine and a 6-speed automated transmission. 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill-Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), ISOFix child seat anchorage, multi-function steering, 8-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay/ Android Auto and Bluetooth Connectivity, power retract & heated side mirrors, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are just a few of the standard features and equipment on the Stonic.

Even while the Kia Stonic isn’t as popular as the Sportage, which sells roughly 1,400 units per month, business sources say that sales and bookings are encouraging. However, we’ll have to wait and watch how the new price rise, which went into effect at the start of this month, affects sales
