Player  Of The Tournament
Sam Curran: I don’t believe I deserve this; rather, I believe Ben Stokes deserves it for the way he performed there, scoring fifty runs in the final like he has done so frequently for our team (PoTM.). This moment, which is quite exceptional, will be enjoyed by all. There were a lot of significant square boundaries, so I figured my into-the-wicket bowling would be effective in getting them to smash square to the wicket. The wicket, in our opinion, was not as good as we had anticipated. It was difficult to chase because it was darting around everything. With my slower balls, I approach the wicket and try to confound the batsman. Wow, we’re world champions. incredibly unique (to have Stokes). I look up to him because he always shows up when the team needs him. People may question him, but there’s no doubt about it—he’s the man. Since it has been such a fantastic competition, I must admit that I am a little speechless. I’ve never participated in a World Cup before, and we’ve won. incredible crowd Coming into the competition, I wanted to be flexible. I want to keep getting better at bowling at the death because I haven’t done it much previously. Despite the difficulty of getting to bat in this lineup, I want to improve my batting. How fantastic is it to win the world championship?

Babar Azam | Pakistan captain: Congratulations to England; they battled valiantly and deserved to win. Here, we felt at home, and each location provided excellent assistance. I appreciate your help. Yes, we dropped the first two games, but we made amazing progress in the latter four games. We fell 20 runs short and the youngsters fought valiantly with the ball, but I only instructed them to play their natural game. One of the best bowling attacks in the entire globe is ours. Unfortunately, Shaheen’s injury distracted us, but that is inevitable in sports.

Jos Buttler | England captain:

It is (the icing on the cake) (the icing on the cake). The T20 World Cup victory makes everyone in this room incredibly happy. Although there haven’t been many changes, the hard road has paid off, and we are now enjoying the benefits of our recent play. The tournament was excellent. Prior to being here, the group spent vital time in Pakistan. Although it seemed far away after the Ireland game, the team’s perseverance in crucial games following that is incredible. Matty Motts has blended in quite nicely. He has led the coaching staff admirably and allows the players a lot of freedom. We have a few Australians on the coaching staff with us during this tournament. Adil’s stunning over had a significant impact on the outcome of the game. He has been excellent for us over the past three games; he is just the type of player who gets things done, and his performance was superb. They were definitely bowling at a good tempo, not at all easy, and there was some movement when you struck the appropriate length. We were able to get off to a fast start that restricted the run rate, and we also batted deeply. Ben Stokes appears once again at the conclusion. He has the experience to fall back on and is the fiercest competitor in all he does. He timed it brilliantly, taking away the momentum that he and Moeen Ali had just given it.
