The premium prize bond draw was held on September 11, 2023 (Monday) at 9:00 a.m. at the State Bank of Pakistan, SBP BSC (Bank), Rawalpindi.

 

President of the Draw:

Syed Hazoor Mehdi, Joint Director (Rtd), National Savings, Islamabad, presided over the draw event.

 


Single common draw:

The draw was held under the system of a single common draw applied to all the issued series. 

 

Total Series:

Two (2) series of Rs. 25000/- denomination Premium Prize Bonds currently in circulation, namely series “A” to “B,” sold up to October 10, 2023, were included in this draw.

Total No. of Prizes

There are 707 prizes in one series. It means that there are 1414 prizes in the two series.

Following is the details of the prizes drawn on Rs. 25000/- premium prize bonds:

 04 Prizes of Rs. 50,000,000 each; 02 prizes in each series

 10 Prizes of Rs. 10,000,000 each 05 Prizes in each series

How to buy National Prize bonds in Pakistan?

If you want to buy national prize bonds in Pakistan, visit any of the State Bank, Banking services corporations (banks). There are some scheduled banks listed and authorized for the sale of the prize bonds.

  • You must bring your original National Identity Card and a copy of your NIC.

How to claim prize money?

If, luckily, you win the prize money on any of the denominations of the National Prize Bond, you can get your money by following these guidelines. 

 

  • Visit any of the SBP BSC offices
  • Bring your original NIC and copy
  • Bring your bank account details, including IBAN
  • Fill your details in a form (Click Here to Download)
  • After filling out the form, submit it to the concerned department.
  • You will receive your prize money in your bank account on the same day.
  • If you win, the first or second prize money will be sent after 10 to 15 working days.

 

Filer VS Nonfiler

The government of Pakistan has a fixed tax on the amount of prize money. The tax is deducted at the source and transferred to FBR when you claim the prize money.

The tax rate for filers is better than for nonfilers.
